This is an excellent opportunity that will test all your IR knowledge-
You will be responsible for :
Weekly Labour Returns -presentation of reports to company directors.
Recruitment and checking references for available bricklayers, crane drivers, banksmen and apprentices.
Liaise with the HR department regarding employment contracts and liaise with the payroll dept.
Ensure all Health and Safety (Safepass and
Manual Handling certs) are recorded and up to date.
Liaise with payroll dept regarding wages / Construction Industry Federation agreements.
Co-ordinate and allocate bricklayers/tradespeople to different sites as required.
Administration - upload relevant documents on the document share company system.
Excellent knowledge of Industrial Relations.(ideally within Construction /Engineering sector)
A related Degree (HR/IR)
Proficient IT and interpersonal skills
